The Butcher’s Daughter launches her new brand, with her much loved family recipes…
The launch of Una O’Dwyer’s new brand, aptly named The Butcher’s Daughter, takes place this October. Formerly marketed under the well known family brand Cashel Fine Foods, Una wanted to create a retail product that told her brand story and to bring her celebrated ranges to a national market.
Una grew up helping her father Martin in his craft butcher shop in Cashel Town, Co. Tipperary. The O’Dwyer’s rear their own herds to supply the family butcher store, Martin O’Dwyer’s Butchers and their well known catering company, Cashel Fine Foods. As the second generation butcher of the family, Una has honed her experience and craft to bring her own unique recipes to market. Hence naming her brand The Butcher’s Daughter, capturing both the homely and heritage qualities of her work.
Una’s sausage and pudding ranges are 100% Irish, handmade and perfect for breakfast, brunch and dinner recipes. She has developed recipes that celebrate the classics – like traditional hand linked 80% pork and also explored new flavours like Sundried Tomato and Basil pork sausages. Due to the high quality ingredients and practises which Una and her team work to The Butcher’s Daughter has also achieved Bord Bia Quality assurance status so watch out for the Bord Bia Quality Assurance Logo on selected packs.
The Butcher’s Daughter sausages and pudding ranges are coming to stores local to you soon. Previously well known as Cashel Fine Foods with the same great hand crafted flavours, just wrapped in a new exciting parchment of sorts! From October 2015.
